Contributing your records for research through PicnicHealth is not a clinical trial, though sometimes they may be used in conjunction with a clinical trial. A traditional clinical trial involves testing a specific treatment, like a drug or medical device. At PicnicHealth, we are only collecting medical records produced during your normal visits to the doctor. This means you won’t need to change medications or any part of your current treatment plan in order to participate. The goal of our studies is to better understand how people with certain diseases are being treated and how to advance care for people living with those diseases everywhere.
