What if my study wearable device breaks or is lost?

If your wearable is lost, damaged, or won't turn on or charge, we'll send a replacement at no cost to you.

  1. Contact the study team at help@picnicresearch.com by phone or email and describe the issue.

  2. We'll confirm your mailing address and ship a new device, usually within a few business days.

  3. When the replacement arrives, set it up using the steps in User Guide.

  4. Your previous data is safe — it stays linked to your study record.

Return the old device only if the study team asks you to; we'll provide a prepaid mailer if needed.
