Managed PicnicHealth Accounts
You can manage a PicnicHealth account for someone else—or have someone manage your account on your behalf. This includes children, parents, partners, or others you support. This is helpful for organizing medical information, tracking records, supporting research participation, or staying on top of health-related tasks.
Each person has their own secure, separate account. As an account manager, you can switch between accounts to view records, track updates, and help complete tasks as needed.
To add a new family member account after sign up:
Click the Settings icon in the top right corner.
Scroll down on account overview to account managers
Click invite and fill in their information
Once created, you can switch between accounts from within Settings.
To transfer account management to a caregiver or family member:
If you would like to transfer management of your account to a caregiver, or if a caregiver needs to take over an account, please contact our support team directly. We will walk you through the steps and any documentation that may be needed.
When Would I Need to Transfer Account Management?
A parent or guardian is transferring management to the patient, who is now an adult per state laws
A primary caregiver is no longer able to manage the account and a new caregiver is taking over
A person who previously had help managing their account now wishes to manage it independently
A legal guardian has changed due to a court order or change in Power of Attorney
A caregiver has passed away or is incapacitated
